The 2015 Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade

2015 marks the 66th year that the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade has taken place. Since 1949 the parade has gone through some changes, but remains on of Houston’s biggest holiday traditions. The parade showcases Houston’s community and is a great way to entertain families on Thanksgiving morning. Join the city and over 200,000 other parade-goers along the streets on Thanksgiving Morning.

This year, the parade, takes place November 26th at 9:00am and will showcase floats, balloons, marching bands, art, and live entertainment. There is sure to be sure something to entertain everyone in the family.

You can find parking in the Theater District Garage for a fee, or consider taking Metro transit. Be sure to bring something to sit on, such as blankets or lawn chairs, so that you can enjoy the parade in comfort.
