4th of July Fireworks Shows in Houston, TX


Looking for a family friendly fireworks show in Houston this 4th of July? We’ve put together a list of some of the biggest and best 4th of July fireworks shows in the area.

Freedom over Texas with Cheryl Crow and Martina McBride. The annual event is held on Thursday, July 4, 2013  at Eleanor Tinsley Park from 4pm – 10pm. Great music and family fun culminating in a fireworks extravaganza set to a perfectly timed bed of patriot and current musical selections.

The Houston Symphony will be hosting its ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights: A Star Spangled Salute at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. It starts at 8:30pm and will last until 10:30pm.

Sugar Land’s Fourth of July Star Spangled Celebration at Constellation Field. This star spangled event features a variety of events including live music and a fireworks display. July 4th, 2013 from 6-10 p.m.

Missouri City’s Fourth of July celebrations begins at 6pm at Buffalo Run Park. From 6:00-9:00 PM take part in the family friendly free events including moonwalks, a rockwall, mechanical bulls, a zip line and more. Fireworks begin around 9:15 PM. Parking is available at Thurgood Marshall High School next to Buffalo Run Park. Kids can participate in the “Messy Station” with the purchase of Silly String for $2. All proceeds benefit the Mayor’s Youth Commission
